Coming to Australia: SF Sir Real!!

SF Sir Real will hit Australian shores in July 2011.  It is with great pride that Kate and Doyle Dertell of Future Farms Australia will stand and show this up and coming young stallion for the 2011- 2012 breeding and showing season.  A very special thank you goes out to Erin and Kathy Patterson & Holly and Gary McDonald for allowing this opportunity to happen.  SF Sir Real will bring to Australia as a breeding sire his size, well balance great body, strong legs, and his very upright long well shaped neck, and of course his show ring attitude and flare! He will be available to the Australia public with on farm fresh semen and shipped cooled semen to all parts of the country.  SF Sir Real will have semen froze in Australia prior to his departure and will leave us with a semen bank for future years breedings.  He marks a rare opportunity to use genetics that have not graced our country, being the first son of *Sir Fames HBV and out of the US national futurity mare Veronica GA (Versace x Echo Magnificoo daughter)  Veronica GA herself is proving quite the broodmare being also the dame of SF Veraz (Gazal Al Shaqab) and PCF Vision (Marwan Al Shaqab)

Burren-Dah The Wizard has won countless State, National and Australian Championship awards, with his progeny now all doing the same. He will be sadly missed here at Future Farms, though is going to make a huge impact on the New Zealand breeding and show scene. We wish Brian and Leesa all the best with their new boy!!

Future Farms recently sold six outstanding purebreds to Vietnam including AngelitaFF, Future Farms Illusion, Future Farms Angeleek, Temar Tahaan, Jayay Just Do It and Kaferthal Shalina. All horses have arrived safely at their new home

On the recent visit to the USA for the World Breeders Cup with family and friends, 4 new horses were purchased to bring back to Australia. Congratulations to Jill Gregson of Burren-Dah Stud on the acquisition of two gorgeous mares Lovely Iimage and Kouvay Ole, to Chris and Debbie Lee White of Orabanda Stud on the acquisition of the outstanding young cold Kharbonation J, and ourselves purchasing the purebred mare Audrey H JCA. Watch out for these amazing individuals when they hit Australia later this year!

Future Farms Open Day! Yes – Finally – the first open day at the new farm is planned for Tuesday 17th March (in between the Victorian Classic and the Australian Championships).

Show results: With the outbreak of Equine Influenza in Australia last year, our shows were extremely limited. Future Farms took horses to 4 A Class shows, 1 AA class (QLD Challenge) and 2 foal shows for the following results:
